One of the best Christmas party ever attended in this jampacked season of get-together, reunions and parties left and right all happening in this merry month of December. True enough the party-ing may chase some blues away but most of the time one gets harassed and fidgety balancing the time and schedule as well as the art of budgeting the expenses that goes with the merriment.
But last night’s gathering was by far the simplest, effortless, cool & most relaxed. Yet the most hilarious, wacky, fun-filled and enjoyable! The funny bones were tickled to the fullest leaving us all almost jaw-locked. I’ve seen Aimee sprawled on the floor due to laughter and Rea as well perspired ironically in a quite cool weather maybe because of too much laughs. Not to mention the gastric extereme challenge due to the sumptuous dinner of pansit molo of Beth , the unhealthy but flavorful callos of yours truly, the ever famous pinakbet of Ranier & Meng, and the food to go brought in by the tres divas of the group namely the ever energetic Rea with her Chooks chicken & green salad that goes with it, the all-time favorite & ever present pansit bihon brought in by Madam fashionista & always poised & pretty Aimee and of course my favorite Pixies bangus courtesy of forever flawless & “BEAUTIFUL??” (he he) Lagracia. Well, well the sweets so heavenly and labored full of love by Lilian and not to mention the gelatin patented to perfection by no less but the hostess of the house, Beth Tiongson. Of course I did not leave for home without pabaon of Beth;s awesome and legendary macaroni salad which is Junel;s favorite!
Nobody noticed that time is slipping fast into the night and before we knew it was past midnight! Not to mention that we only had one game of this WHITE ELEPHANT and the GUESSTURES game of wit, fun and creativity.
Mel & Joel might have awarded as the most sane creatures of the night. Louie & Ranier were uncontrollable with their colorful antics, gosh!! they’re simply hilarious. Bombee & Mike were awesome twosome that blend in between.
The fun so infectious my spirits weren’t dampened even after finding out that the car key is broken. The car had to spend the night at the parking space in front of the Tiongson’s. Well, my Tatay & Nanay (Mike & Rea) took care of me through the doorstep of my house. Thanks a lot!
Junel missed all these. He had to attend three other christmas parties one after the other on that day alone. Last night’s at the Tiongson’s would have been his fourth. He didn’t make it to party with us anymore.
Thank you everyone for the fun and laughter. What a way to cap-off the night or the year with the merriment as last night’s.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!

A re-post bday message from Chay
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM! :)
by Aira Felicia Ama on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at 7:21am
Dearest Mom,
In a lifetime I will never find another, who will love me as unconditionally as you have. I am truly blessed to not only have you as my mother but a soulmate. One who can see through my smile to know I am hurting. Who will do just about anything to see me happy, even if it means keeping silent whilst performing little deeds in the background. One whose fervent prayers have kept me safe from harm or sickness. I have so much to learn from you. I am always in awe when I witness your generosity, and your kindness to those in need.
Mom, I know I am not the best of daughters and am truly sorry for all those times I’ve hurt you. I can only promise to do better. Know that I love you with all my heart even though I may not say it everyday.
Thank you so much for all your love and sacrifice, you are ‘Heaven Sent’ and you are my inspiration.
Happy Birthday Mom! \:D/ :* >:D< :)) :X :">
All my love,
Chay :)

Legacy Run
Talk about bonding, having fun..or bonding with lots of fun. What comes into your mind?
Is it dining out, malling, window shopping or shopping galore, movies, sports/games, etc. Plenty isn’t it? But not all gives the same enjoyment and excitement to everyone. While some may find them fun-filled though draining to the last hard-earned centavo. Ouch! Reality bites. Expenses, expenses -- the last inclusion in our wish list, right? While others may still prefer interests such sweating it out in the gym, doing yoga or the pilates, sweating it out through body jam, the hip hop craze, the modern jazz or even the now outdated ballroom dancing. Oh my, these are just too selective, if not too “sosy”, or downright costly!
But you know what? CFC West C has prepared something that’s coming out as a real treat. A bonding time and actually just about FUN and Family Time. The closest you get to losing those unwanted pounds and kilograms and at the same time enjoying the company of friends and families is the IN thing of the moment -- running. Yup! Run to good health. Run to healthy lifestyle. Run for life. Run for fun.
FUN RUN!
Come one, come all and experience the fun as we sweat it out with our families and friends at a time and place specially made for us in CFC West C. Don’t forget the date. November 28, 2010 at 5AM. QC Circle. See you there!

TAKE A LOOK INSIDE MY HEART
In a nutshell God is telling us only two commandments: to love Him and and love our neighbors. Simple, isn’t it? Yeah! But not quite.
“Loving” comes easy in this day and age of material wealth and power. For a rich man, everything seem to be possible except the stairway to heaven? Hmmm…
Most of the times we are overwhelmed by the goodness of a certain situation or a certain feeling that we equate it to be a blessing or to be God’s. The loving gestures, lending hands, support, camaraderie and all other good things that are mistakenly seen as loving kindness. We become so overwhelmed. Is this really so? If the yardstick to loving is all seen in the tangible things that man can do, then for someone who is rich, famous & powerful is not a big task to show love. Everything is right there ready for give-out and distribution. Sealed with cheerfulness, enthusiasm and passion! But lo and behold! God is watching. Is it sealed with love?? God looks right through the windows of our soul which is our heart. For God the bottom line is not what we said, what we did and whatever we accomplished. All of these can be easily magnified. What matters most is what is inside the heart of each of us.
The stairway to heaven is not at all in the good deeds that we have done in the eyes of many but in the secluded and silent deeds we did from the bottom of our hearts where no man can pass a judgment.
May I ask ourselves: I ALWAYS SAY I LOVE GOD AND THAT HE COMES FIRST, BUT CAN I PROVE IT WITH MY LIFE?
